In this UDI, we have been working on Jules Verne and his work. In the English lessons, we have read an adapted version of Travel to the centre of the Earth and, of course, we have studied what is inside our planet.

En aquesta UDI hem estat treballant l'autor Jules Verne i la seva obra. A les classes d'anglès hem llegit una versió adaptada de Viatge al centre de la Terra i, com no podia ser d'una altra manera, hem indagat en què hi ha dins del nostre planeta.

A les darreres classes hem representat com és la Terra en diferents formats. Feu una ullada a les nostres maquetes!

Eggs hunt (2nd. gr)

Hello, families!

Today, the 2nd graders took part in one of the funniest traditions in the United States: the egg hunt! 

An egg hunt is an Eastertide game during which decorated eggs are hidden for children to find. The game is often played outdoors, and we did it in the school's playground. The children typically collect the eggs in a basket and, when the hunt is over, can eat them.

We had a lot of fun and managed to find an egg for each kid! Check the pictures out!

Avui els alumnes de 2n hem participat d'una de les tradicions més divertides dels Estats Units: l'egg hunt!

Una egg hunt o caça d'ous és un joc de pasqua durant el qual s'amaguen ous decorats perquè els infants els trobin. El joc es juga a l'aire lliure, i per això l'hem fet al pati de l'escola. Els nens solen recollir els ous en una cistella i, quan s'acaba la caça, se'ls poden menjar.

Ens ho hem passat d'allò més bé i hem aconseguit trobar un ou per a cadascú! Aquí en teniu les fotos:

As the 3rd graders have been working on physical descriptions, today they have been playing "Guess who" in groups of three: two of them were the players and one student was the referee, making sure all the questions were in English and all the answers were correct. They enjoyed a lot and even dueled the teacher! Guess who won?

Com que els nens i nenes de 3r han estat treballant les descripcions físiques, avui han jugat a "Qui és qui?" en grups de tres: dos infants eren els jugadors o jugadores i un alumne o alumna era l'àrbitre, assegurant-se que totes les preguntes fossin en anglès i totes les respostes fossin correctes. Han gaudit molt i fins i tot s'han enfrontat a duel amb la teacher! Qui creieu que ha guanyat?
